bras for a cup

Women know that a good bra can make or break an outfit. It can also take years off the appearance, add sex appeal, and relieve back and shoulder pain. A bra is a constant companion, and a woman will buy many throughout her lifetime. Starting from the first training bra during preteen years, bra shopping centers around choice. If there's a unique bust problem, it's certain a bra exists to remedy the situation.
Cup Styles
Full Cup: With a cup that offers full coverage of the bust, the full cup (or full coverage) bra gives the most comfortable support for day-to-day wear. Larger cup sizes skew heavily toward the full cup bra style because it spreads weight and pressure most evenly through the front, taking weight off the straps and back.
Demi-Cup: Sexy and alluring, the demi-cup creates a shelf that cradles, separates, and rounds the bust. Depending on the wearer's anatomy, the nipple may or may not show over the top. Built for seduction, the demi-cup suits low, open necklines with its wide-set straps and low profile. Demi-cup bras work best for A through D cup sizes, since this design adds little to no support to the upper bust.
Push-up Bra: The cleavage-enhancing push-up bra took the market by storm in the 80's. Foam inserts inside the cup lift and compress the bust to create varying levels of cleavage. Depending on the bra, cup construction, and padding, a quality push-up bra can increase the bust by several cup sizes.
Wireless Bra: A wireless bra takes away the uncomfortable underwire problem by removing the wire altogether. Often, wireless bras are crafted from a single piece of molded fabric, creating a more stable design with moderate support.
Soft Cup: Also known as a triangle bra, this basic design uses a triangle of fabric with no formed cup or underwire to hold the bust. Soft cup bras are terrific for very small women who wish to wear a bra, but don't have the bust to fill a cup. They're also wonderful for leisure wear and sleep support.
Bra Types
Convertible Bra: For those who need a variety of bras to fit their wardrobe, a convertible bra is a cost-effective means to an end. A convertible bra set may come with several straps or back sections. These hook through loops on the bra to create different styles including racerback, halter, criss-cross, asymmetrical, and strapless.
Strapless Bra: Suitable for wear underneath strapless and strappy bodices, the strapless bra usually runs a bit smaller than a conventional bra and sits unsupported on the bust. Strapless bras may have some sticky plastic tape along the edges or have wider back straps for additional stability.
Maternity Bra: This special model comes with easy-open cups that allow a nursing mother to feed without too much clothing disruption. Inside of the bra are pads that soak up excess milk drips and surprise leakage that can cause embarrassing accidents.
Mastectomy Bra: Post breast cancer, a woman often uses a breast form to replace her lost breast tissue. A mastectomy bra works to create as real of a bust shape as possible so that clothing fits just as it did pre-surgery. The cup holds silicone breast inserts in place, minimizing shifts or slippage while wearing.
When buying a bra, make sure to speak to a specialist to get a proper fitting. Without the right sizing, the best-built bra in the world becomes ineffective. No matter what your bust needs, a correct bra exists to fit those wardrobe wishes.
